Caption: Near the Statue of Liberty, circa Summer of 1898. Photo by E.H. Hart. This ship was lent to the U.S. by the Atlantic Transport Line in 1898. After the war she served as an Army Hospital Ship in the Philippines, her name eventually becoming USAT EGBERT. She became the S.S. STANLEY DOLLAR in 1903.
