Japanese Attacks on Pearl Harbor:  Aircraft and Airfields

This section houses views of the damaged U.S. aircraft and airfields at Oahu.   They were attacked to prevent counter-attacks by U.S. fighter planes, which could have seriously threatened the Japanese bombers and the Striking Force's aircraft carriers.
