In recognition of the 60th anniversary of President Lyndon Johnson signing the Civil Rights Act, the museum is broadcasting a recorded panel discussion it convened in 2023 related to another civil rights milestone—President Harry Truman’s Executive Order 9981 to desegregate the armed services.
