80-G-49793: Service Dress Blue, April 1945.   Lieutenant Junior Grade Kathleen K. Ballard, Naval air navigator, walks to her plane at the Naval Air Station, Alameda, California.  With her, she carriers her flight clothing and in the bag is a sextant which she will use in flight to obtain “fixes”.  Plane in the background is a PBM.   Received April 7, 1945.
