80-G-54404:   Battle of Anzio, January-June 1944.    German  Prisoners seized by the 5th Army after the landing below Rome.  Most of the German garrison protecting this part of the Italian coast had been withdrawn.  Shown:  Known fascists in the area were quickly rounded up and placed with captured Nazi soldiers in a prisoner’s pen following the landing below Rome.
