LC-Lot-803-33:  Aleutian Islands Campaign, June 1942 - August 1943.   Allied Landing on Attu Island, May 11 1943. This One Won’t Point At U.S. Planes Again.  Americans examine a Japanese anti-aircraft gun on a hill at head of west arm of Holtz Bay.  This was one of the strong Japanese positions from which Americans drove their troops.
