![80-G-17001: Dutch Harbor Attack, June 3, 1942. A Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 “Zero” fighting plane shot down during the attack on Dutch Harbor, Alaska, in early June. The plane was damaged by anti-aircraft fire and pancaked on a marsh some miles away. It was spotted from the air by a Navy patrol plane. U.S. Navy photograph, now in the collections of the U.S. Navy.
