80-G-279808:  U.S. Naval Air Station, Kodiak, Alaska, 1944.    Lieutenant Junior Grade Marguerite F. Hunold, USNR, the first WAVE to arrive at the station  was greeted by Lieutenant Commander A.R. Hetherington, USNR, and Lieutenant W.C. Jones as she stepped off a NATS plane.  Lieutenant Junior Grade Hunold was attached to Fleet Weather Central for temporary duty in order to study Aleutian weather conditions.  Photograph released October 29, 1944.
