80-G-46659:  Operation Flintlock, January-February 1944.  Corporal Duvall Stevens on Kwajalein Island with the washing machine he built of boards and tin.  The windmill is turned by prevailing winds which operates crank in garbage can.  Received November 1, 1944.  Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
