80-G-239424:  Invasion of Guam, July 21-August 10, 1944.   U.S. Marines turned away from the intense heat, when they used a flame thrower to drive the enemy from a building on Guam.  The Japanese – who lived – dashed out a rear door and were shot down by other Marines using automatic rifles, released August 3, 1944.
