80-G-59332:   Bougainville Campaign, November 1943-August 1945.   U.S. Navy Motor Torpedo Base, Bougainville, Solomon Islands, 10 March 1944.   The MTB Squadrons scoreboard shows 14 Japanese flags represent barges sunk.   Ensign R.A. Hockbirg, a PT Boat Captain, is at right.   The base was on a point of the small island opposite Capr Torokina, Empress Augusta Bay.  Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.   (2014/3/12).
