USN 708495:   WAVES. on flight deck elevators, January 1952.  The huge elevators which bring the planes from the hangar to the flight deck aboard USS Cabot (CVL-28) proved to be a center of interest to the student Ensigns.  Lieutenant C.G. Hampers explains how the elevators operate to the Ensigns. (left to right): Phyllis Zauner; Jeanne Lisl; Marilyn Paonessa; and Shirley O’Neil.
