<p>80-G-67937: Sinking of German U-boat, U-521. Lieutenant Commander Klaus Heinz Bargsten sole survivor of a German submarine, U-521, sunk by USS PC-565 off the Atlantic Coast, June 2, 1943. Lieutenant Bargsten, the Commanding Officer of the U-boat, was landed at Naval Operating Base, Norfolk, by USS Pilot (AM-104) The rest of his crew were killed.&nbsp;</p>
