80-G-490448:  Allied Prisoner of War Camp, Omori, Japan, 1945.  Allied prisoners of war, suffering from malnutrition and other disorders as seen after their rescue from the Omori Camp, Tokyo, Japan, area by a U.S. Navy Rescue Mission headed by Robert Simpson and Commander Harold Stassen.  Treatment of the prisoners was described as inquisitional form of barbarism.  Four gaunt Allied prisoners weakly hold themselves up in their beds.  Left to right:  Sub/Lieutenant; Robert M.
