Caption: Stern section is flanked by the large harbor tugs USS WAUWATOSA (YTB-775) and the medium harbor tug USS WALLACUT (YTM-420). The DD-754 was cut in two during a pre-dawn collision on 2 June 1969, with the Royal Australian Navy aircraft carrier MELBOURNE as the ships participated in a Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO) training exercise "Sea Spirit" in the South China Sea.
