Blue Angels Retire Legacy Hornets

The US Navy conducted its final flight of the F/A-18 “Legacy” Hornet on 4 November 2020, with the official transition of the Blue Angels to the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet platform. These jets concluded 34 years of service with a 30-minute flight that took place around Naval Air Station Pensacola, the squadron’s home base.
