While aboard USS George Washington (CVN-73) in 2014, I was asked what I would like to see beyond my time on the carrier. I replied “Time on a destroyer!” Several days later they took me to USS Mustin (DDG-89). I had three days aboard this fine warship. This scene shows a watchstander on the portside bridge-wing during operations. He can see the carrier in the distance launching aircraft.
