This plan, showing the ship's port side, is dated 18 March 1944 and was approved by Captain Torvald A. Solberg, USN. Note that the drawing actually shows a version of this class as converted to a seaplane tender (AVD). Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
