Description: Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for escort aircraft carriers of the CVE-9 (Bogue) class. Ships known to have worn this scheme included USS Nassau (CVE-16) and USS Altamaha (CVE-18). This plan, showing the ship's starboard side, stern, forward end of the flight deck, and island ends, is dated 18 March 1944 and was approved by Captain Logan McKee, USN. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
