Description: Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for escort aircraft carriers of the CVE-26 (Sangamon) class. This plan, approved by Captain Logan McKee, USN, was probably prepared in early 1944. It shows the ship's port side. USS Chenango (CVE-28) is known to have worn this camouflage design. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
