Title: John A. Palmer, Jr.
Description: (American Menhaden Fishing Vessel, 1911) Photographed prior to World War I. Delivered to the Navy on 29 May 1917, she served as John A. Palmer, Jr. (SP-319) during and immediately after World War I. She was transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard on 10 September 1919. As USCGC Pequot, she was employed as a cable layer until 1922. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
