Description: (American Tug, ex-Yacht, 1883) Photographed circa 1914-17, prior to her World War I naval service. She had previously been the yacht Oneida, which was originally named Utowana. Acquired by the Navy on 25 August 1918, she was later commissioned as USS Adelante (SP-765). After the completion of her Navy service, she was stricken on 27 September 1919 and sold on 25 March 1920. The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
