Description: (American Motor Boat) Photographed prior to her World War I era Naval service. This working craft was acquired by the Navy, under charter, on 15 November 1917. She was placed in commission as USS Cozy (SP-556) on 30 November 1917 and was returned to her owner on 20 December 1918. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
