Caption: Russian troops examine the bridge, which had been damaged by a Japanese raiding party during their initial operations ashore in the vicinity of Port Arthur. The bridge was "a little to southward" of Pulundian. Lieutenant Commander N.A. McCully, USN, was with the Russians when they reoccupied the location.
