Description: (U.S. Steam Yacht, 1891) At anchor, prior to World War I. She was acquired by the Navy on 11 August 1917 and commissioned on 7 October 1917 as USS May (SP-164). She ran aground off Cape Engano, Santo Domingo, on 27 July 1919 and her wreck was abandoned as unsalable on 23 June 1923. The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
