Description: (U.S. Steam Yacht, 1903) Photographed at The Moorings, Marion, Massachusetts, while owned by Colonel Harry E. Coverse. The image is reproduced on a color-tinted postal card, published by David Campbell. This yacht was delivered to the Navy on 18 August 1917 and commissioned USS Parthenia (SP-671). She was sold on 17 August 1920, following patrol service during and after World War I. The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
