Description: (American Motor Yacht, 1912) Dressed with flags, while in harbor prior to World War I. She was acquired by the Navy on 25 April 1917 and became USS Tarantula (SP-124). On 28 October 1918 she was sunk in collision with the Dutch merchantman Frisia. The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
