Title: Tech III
Description: (American Motor Boat, 1916) Photographed prior to her World War I Navy service. This very fast (25-30 mph) craft was acquired by the Navy on 6 August 1917 and commissioned the following day as USS Tech III (SP-1055). She was decommissioned on 19 October 1917 and ordered returned to her owner when repaired. The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
