Description: (American Salvage Tug, 1907) In port on a winter day, probably prior to her World War I era Navy service. This vessel, owned by J. Shewan of Brooklyn, New York, was acquired by the Navy for World War I service and placed in commission as USS Tasco (SP-502) on 29 September 1917. She was returned to her owner on 22 May 1919.
