Caption: NC-2 (which was thought might make trans-Atlantic flight), tuning up at Rockaway, made its fourth spectacular flight April 14, over the waters of Rockaway Beach, New York. Loaded to capacity with human freight and multitudinous supplies the great boat plane equipped with its four powerful twelve-cylinder Liberty Motors rose with the speed of lighting to incalculable altitude and was soon lost to view. During the trial flight she made over 90 miles an hour.
