Caption: By Gabriel de Valseca. The Atlantic Ocean portion includes part of Norway, with the British Isles, Maderam and the Canary Islands. Includes guesses about Brazil. This belonged to Vespucius, and on the back there is a notation to the effect that he paid 130 gold ducats for it. On the left there is the shadow of a spot of ink produced when it was shown to George Sand and Chopin in the palace of the Count of Montenegro in Majorca.
