Caption: This heater was originally designed for the U.S. Government to be used in the water circulating system of aeroplane engines, used to keep the engine warm while the machine is in the hangar. U.S. Government was not recorded as ordering any of these, but the British Government did place a large order. Edison Electric Appliance Company.
