Title: Wooden Octant of the 18th Century
Caption: From the former Escuala de Nautica de (School of Seamanship of) Arenys de Mar. Builder, Gilbert on Tower Hill, London. It uses a system of sights, the alidade is of wood with a metallic lubber's line. The limb is also of wood, with a scale of proportional parts.
