Caption: Model of a Dutch Man-of-War, Circa 1640. Full carved hull, mounting cannon. Bow with carved full figure of lion and gilt decorated stern with high crown mounting lantren. Dutch Coat of Arms at center. Flanked by cupidons and lions. Quarter galleries to match. Planked deck. Fully rigged and equipped with sails, flags and pennants. Set on to end pedestals. Height, 52 inches; Length, 48 inches. From the marine collection of the late William Bell Chambers. R.N. London, England. 1925.
