Title: Pigeon "ENDURANCE"
Caption: Pigeon "ENDURANCE". NCS-21 A-334. Flew the 600 mile course in the same month over the southern course in 1922 as a "Yearling". On May 12th, 1926, he was liberated with three other birds at Chicago, Illinois, a distance of 601 miles air-line. He homed on the third day of toss while under great disadvantage. He was liberated late in the afternoon, with head winds to buck and was held over in a shipping crate one week before liberation. Truly a wonderful pigeon.
