Caption: Pigeon "SKIPPER" NCS-21-A-335. Has flown the fastest speed ever made over the northeastern course from the 110 mile liberation point. On April 1923, the "SKIPPER" won first diploma in the Washington, Racing Pigeon Club, over an entry of 85 selected racing pigeons. 17 lofts were represented in this contest, the "SKIPPER" averaged 2240 yards per minute on the 116 mile flight, about 86 minutes and 26 seconds.
