Caption: The idea of policewomen has been taken up in Germany on a very extensive scale, according to the latest German papers, which contain long articles on an ambitious scheme to organize German women as Pan German Police agents. German women and girls are urged to report " to the military authorities all persons guilty of pessimism and all rumors likely to affect German Morale." Women are advised to demand patriotic music in cafes and other public places and to punctuate the performances with appropriate displays of feeling. They are also urged to draw up lists of trustworthy women among working classes who will undertake to interfere with strikes.
