Caption: The American Line's ST. PAUL outward bound for England. ST. PAUL became an auxiliary cruiser in the Spanish- American War under her own name. She was returned to her owners and again taken over in 1918, this time as the transport KNOXVILLE. She capsized at her pier April 1918, in New York repaired and returned commercial 1920, she was scrapped 1923 in Germany.
