Title: FRANKFURT German Light Cruiser, 1915-21
Caption: Photographed on 18 July 1921 during air bombing trials that eventually sank the ship. Bombing took place from 0912:50 hours until the ship sank at 1651:41 hours. This bomb may be an Army 300-LB or 600-LB weapon because the Army Martin bombers dropped their weapons singly rather than in salvoes as the Navy aircraft did.
