Caption: Apparently taken in U.S. waters (flag on launch in foreground) during the 1920s or early 1930s. The lower casemate guns were removed in 1921. A platform was added to the foremast about 1936. Ship in background is ASAMA.
Description: Received by Office of Naval Records and Library in 1938.
