Caption: Lack of enclosed platform on foremast and position of upper yardarms indicates that this photo was taken prior to 1914. However, the absence of guns in the lower casemates is not mentioned prior to 1921. Photo probably dates between 1905 and 1913. Note Vice Admiral's flag at the fore.
