Caption: Frame timbers dredged from the Delaware River in 1941. Two stackdoes were used in the river, one extending from Billings Island to Billings Fort, the second, a series, extending from Hog Island to Red Bank Island shoal, both located midway between Chester and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
