Title: Insignia: USS TRUTTA (SS-421)
Caption: This insignia was adopted during a Mediterranean deployment in the spring of 1961. At its top are the dolphins of the submarine force. The crossed trident and torpedo represent the union of TRUTTA's submerged maneuverability and offensive weapons capability. The ship's motto, in 'French,' is translated "If you are a bear, be a grizzly!"
