Caption: Six pounder gun mounted in a tower at Manati, Cuba, in 1917. Shortly after the U.S. entered World War I, the crew of the EAGLE was assigned to the protection of a sugar mill at Manati. Photographed by Mr. John G. Krieger, who was a machinist's mate on the USS EAGLE, and donated by him in 1966-67.
