Caption: Along side the Soviet passenger steamer VIACHESLAV MOLOTOV, off Lewes, Delaware, on 15 March 1949, just prior to her return to U.S. control. The MOLOTOV returned the cruiser's crew to the Soviet Union. Note Soviet Naval Ensign on MURMANSK'S stern, and the Soviet merchant ensign on the MOLOTOV'S stern.
