Caption: This "EUREKA" boat was used to lay a smoke screen through which a number of other "EUREKA" boats materialized, during a demonstration for eleven Latin American admirals standing on the sea wall, held near New Orleans about May 1941. This design was a prototype for the LCPL landing craft of World War II.
