Caption: Aerial photograph of the 35, 000-ton Soviet "Heavy Cruiser" on the building ways at Marti (now called Admiralty) Shipyard, Leningrad, taken during fall 1941. The ship was never finished, being broken up unlaunched during 1948-49. Note the cofferdam extending out into the Neva River to provide room on the building way for the stern of the ship.
