Caption: The Free-French Cargo ship CAP DES PALMES of the cie. de Nav Fraissinet, Marseilles, at San Francisco, California. About 1942. In 1943 she was under the control of the British Ministry of War Transport, Hamilton, Bermuda. Renamed BANFORA in 1957, she sprang a leak and sank under tow off Cape Villano, 17 November 1965.
