Caption: In commission from 1943 to 1949. A vessel built in the United States by Freeport Shipyard, Long Island under the Lend-Lease program for Britain. The craft was ordered on 30 June 1942 and transferred on 11 December 1943. The vessel was sold in 1949. Her fate is not known further. Note the U.S. flag flying.
