NH 92192 USS Terror (Monitor, 1863-1874)

The former Agamenticus, renamed on 15 June, 1869, photographed at Philadelphia in reserve sometime between 1869 and 1874 when the ship began a major reconstruction. Note the teporary pilot house fitted atop the fore turret for improving visiblity in navigating the ship at sea.
